Paintwork is brushed finish, largely good with a couple of scratches that need touching in. The saddle tank has been neatly modified with a hinged flap for filling.
Boiler was hydraulic tested by the builder's club when new, he never steamed the locomotive. Warrantied as sound, we'd be happy to hydraulic test the boiler again before sale and issue a new certificate for same.
The engine is complete and rolls freely, however wants attention to the valve setting, running in a less than inspiring way when we tried it on air.
A worthwhile project - steamed once, it's to all intents and purposes a new engine.
