The boiler was built from a set of flanged plates supplied by Western Steam - it has a complete set of club certification, from initial bare boiler shell test to its first steam test in January of this year.
The engine runs very well, with sharply defined, square exhaust beats - there's some video of it here. Water feed is by twin injectors and hand pump.
Hand pump's fine, the injectors are ineffective - we replaced the originals, but suspect the nice scale steam valves are too small for the job they're intended to do - we'd recommend replacement.
