I had this one in a couple of years ago, it remains the crappiest looking 14xx I've set eyes on, the paintwork is atrocious. On the track it's a different matter - goes like the clappers, by a mile the best kit-built version of these I've driven. The original owner had some talented help when he put it together, including over 300 hours logged by the man responsible for engines like the Caledonian 2-4-0, La France fire engine and superb 7 1/4 inch gauge Locomotion I had in some years ago.

There are words, pictures and a video of it running at the club the last time it was here in the archive. Steve has steamed it this afternoon, still goes pretty much the same, still desperately needs a repaint.
