5 inch gauge GWR 15xx "Speedy" - stock code 4363
An early stage GWR 15xx to LBSC's "Speedy" design. Work to date comprises an erected frames with buffer beams and horns, a set of driving wheels and cast iron cylinders, all machined to a good standard. There is a small quantity of odds and sods to go with, pictured, a smokebox and chimney assembly and a silver-soldered copper boiler which looks a decent effort with good solder penetration.
Complete with copies of the original construction series, there are pictures of many examples in the archive, first one I came to was this one if you want to see the finished article.
