Built to a pedestrian standard and painted to a truly dire standard, it's the basis of a running restoration.
The commercially made boiler by Norman Spink has had a hydraulic test, with new certification issued - the regulator is currently seized open, which required blanking off further down the steam line for test.
The chassis runs in both directions, although given the length of time its spent out of service, we'd be tempted to strip, clean, oil and reassemble.
Neither mechanical nor hand pumps are effective, both require stripping and servicing, along with the drain cocks, which currently don't close fully.
Complete with copies of the original construction articles from "Model Engineer", along with boiler blanking plugs for hydraulic test.
