A 5 inch gauge LMS 4F, supplied new by Maxitrak as a ready-to-run locomotive. It came to us from the same family as
the fine GWR 15XX we've recently sold - the 4F has had little use and remains in first class order throughout.
Steamed when it came in, the engine runs well, notching up cleanly in both directions. For those who like the idea of a tender engine but are somewhat daunted at the size of the mainline express locomotives, the 4F is a manageable sized thing to move single handed.
