The chassis is built up to an air-running stage, boiler has had twice working pressure hydraulic test with new certification issued. It showed up no deflection, structural weakness or leaks other than minute beads on one or two firebox stays which, whilst they would take up under steam, could easily be recalked while the boiler is still new.
The tender is largely complete, nicely detailed and well painted.
Complete with a box of loose parts including profiled brass for the cab, mechanical lubricators, outer dome and top feed cover castings, whistle and other sundry bits.
Mainly time in the workshop rather than significant further expenditure required to finish this one.
