A well built engine in good order, it came to us recently as a part exchange, along with an LNER O1 2-8-0. In regular club use pre-lockdown, it steams freely and runs well - there's some video of it taken outside the workshop here.
Boiler has had recent hydraulic and steam tests with certification issued for same, in addition to older club documentation.
Paintwork has typical wear associated with a running engine but remains in good, bright condition - it's one of the nicest turned out B1s we've had in the last year or two.
