A well built and nicely painted 5 inch gauge LNER B1 to Martin Evans' "Springbok" design, this one turned out as 1379 "Mayflower".

Commercially built silver soldered boiler by Chambers, feed by injector and axle pump, with auxiliary hand pump in the tender.

In recent regular use, it's come to us from an experienced model engineer, now on with other projects.

In the workshop recently for hydraulic and steam test, it runs very well.
