Whilst in running order, and fitted with a commercially-built CE-marked boiler built in 2012, we've classified this one as a "running restoration" requiring attention to various jobs over the coming winter, including:
Fit of the motionwork and valve gear is good, finish is unspecial - it could be much improved by hand fettling. The safety valves, injectors and hand pump all work effectively, paintwork is in good condition.
The boiler has had recent hydraulic and steam tests, with new certification issued, there's a clip of the engine in steam on the rolling road here.
