We've issued new hydraulic and steam certificates; in good condition throughout, the engine is offered with full certification, 12 months warranty, set of firing irons and a starter kit of coal and oil.
We would be more than happy to give half a day's instruction on the steaming, running and disposal of the engine to a new owner if required.
A finely built 5 inch gauge LNER V1 2-6-2T, to Martin Evans' three cylinder "Enterprise" design.
We last sold this one in 2020, it had come to us as part of a collection of locomotives from a highly experienced model engineer, along with the Britannia "Western Star", LNER A4 "Sir Nigel Gresley" and a GWR Pannier tank in the same gauge - at the time the man had just completed a 4 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine, having already built a magnificent Showmans engine in the same scale.
It's recently come back in much the same condition as the last time it was here - pictures opposite were taken earlier in the week, there is a full writeup from the last it was with us in the archive here.
Presented in lined LNER green livery, done to a high standard the paintwork remains in good condition, with minor blemishes expected from normal running and maintenance.
