A well-made 5 inch gauge London, South Western Railway 0-4-4T built to the Don Young design - it's in good condition and runs well.
Silver soldered copper boiler, feed by twin injectors with auxiliary hand pump in the nearside tank. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator. Steam brakes. Backhead is neatly laid out and well-plumbed, the back of the cab removes for ease of driving (well actually to make driving possible at all).
Paintwork and lining has been done to a good standard - it's a pretty engine, an easy to manage size, both for transporting and driving.
