A 5 inch gauge "Maid of Kent" which came in recently as a part exchange. We've tested the boiler and steamed the engine, runs forwards, not so good in reverse. Cosmetically it's pretty horrible. On the plus side, MoK is one of LBSC's really good designs - I had one of my own for some years, the 7 inch diameter driving wheels give it a good turn of speed and a nice exhaust beat.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
