Work to date comprises chassis with cylinders, crank axle and valve gear erected; there is a set of machined driving wheels.
Boiler is copper, silver soldered throughout. Dusty from many years stored in an attic, it was bought for the project and is unused from new.
Loose parts include unmachined castings for dome, smokebox door and front ring.
If you need reminding what a "Minx" looks like (or indeed would like to buy a running engine and avoid a year or two in the workshop), we've got a good one in at the moment from the builder of the superb LNER B2 we sold recently.
