One of the larger Pollys, a Polly V, built from a kit in 2006. As with all the other Pollys I've had, it goes well, a very free-steaming engine which is in good order throughout, having had little use from new.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 90psi working pressure, feed by axle pump and injector with auxiliary hand pump in the side tank. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with pole reverser in cab.
