A 5 inch gauge Polly VI, largest of the Polly range, assembled from one of their kits and first run in 2007.
Copper silver soldered CE-marked boiler, working pressure 90psi, feed by injector and axle pump with hand pump in the tender. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
We had the engine running last week - there's a clip of it in the workshop here. It spent much of its life running around one of the smallest garden railways I've ever seen - mechanically it's in good order, but paintwork and detailing are all pretty pedestrian. Whilst it could be run as-is, a good clean and possibly a repaint over next winter would make a very attractive example of this large, powerful engine.
