This one came to us as part of a collection of steam and battery-electric locomotives. An older engine, well-built originally it's had recent hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued.
Servicing in the workshop included fitting Viton O-rings to the pistons, replacing the old nitrile ones which had started to leak.
On test it proved free-steaming and ran well in either direction, the only thing subsequently requiring attention was adjustment of the piston rod glands, now done.
