The work of an experienced model engineer, the man was also responsible for the 3 inch scale Burrell, 5 inch gauge "Metre Maid" and 3 1/2 inch gauge "Rob Roy" which came in recently.
Unsteamed from new, the engine has suffered from poor storage, with some superfical rust to the brightwork and cylinder cladding sheets. Currently seized, it needs the cylinder end covers and valve chests removing to free off.
The silver soldered copper boiler is well made and has had a recent twice working pressure hydraulic test with certification issued for same.
