Well advanced version of Martin Evans' ever-popular "Simplex" 0-6-0 tank engine, hundreds of which have formed the backbone of club running for the past thirty years. Work to date is to a good standard and comprises a largely complete chassis, with a silver-soldered copper boiler. Work remaining is mainly platework and plumbing.
There is a complete set of drawings and a much-thumbed copy of the constructor's manual.
