A particularly nice 5 inch gauge "Simplex" to the Martin Evans' design. Don't know whether it's the livery, panelling or the way it runs, but we all rated this one when it was on test in the workshop recently.
Silver soldered superheated copper boiler, 90psi working pressure. Feed by injector and axle pump with bypass, auxiliary hand pump in the side tank. Twin spring type safety valve. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walshaerts gear, screw reveresr in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.
The engine steams freely and runs well - there's some video of it here.
