A particularly well-made "Sweet Pea", unused for several years having run at a private garden railway in company with a small battery electric and huge Darjeeling & Himalaya "Sherpa", along with some very nice rolling stock (you may remember the Glyn Valley Tramway brake van). Apart from the Sherpa which had been sold some years before, we took everything out including the track last year.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and crosshead pump with auxiliary handpump mounted under the nearside footplate. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear, pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator, cab-operated drain cocks.
