One of the finest Sweet Peas I've seen, a beautifully made engine, completed in 2000. Excellent finish throughout, loads of nice details from the stainless steel backhead and grate, opening cab windows and heavy duty double-acting hand pump to the check chain on the tank filler and tank level glass. Paintwork is exceptional.

Silver-soldered marine boiler, feed by crosshead pump, injector and double-acting hand pump below the footplate. Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth valve gear with pole reverser in cab. Twin sight feed lubricators with reservoir beneath footplate.

The engine comes with a comprehensive kit of tools, bit and pieces including transport stand, blower, electric 12 volt water pump to fill the boiler from empty, firing irons and the original construction manual.

It goes, as you would expect, exactly as it looks. Probably as close as you can get to buying a new, professionally-built Sweet Pea it will, in considerate hands, give many, many years of good service.
