A well made "Sweet Pea" which came in recently as a part exchange for another locomotive.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 80 psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Hackworth gear, pole reverser in the cab, displacement lubricator with sight feed. Cab is neatly laid out, the twin water gauges are fitted with protectors, backhead/grate assembly is in stainless steel.
The engine runs well, paintwork is generally quite reasonable although there are two patches of missing paint on the cab where plates have been removed - rather than trying to match the paint, we'd be tempted to fit some more plates.
Complete with construction manual and set of drawings.
