More normally seen in 3 1/2 inch gauge, this is a 5 inch gauge version of LBSC's small-boilered "Tich".

Silver-soldered saturated boiler fed by axle pump, injector and auxiliary hand pump in side tank. The tanks are linked with a balance pipe and also have a drain pipe plumbed in with wheel valve. Salter-type safety valve, 0-150 psi pressure gauge, water gauge with blowdown. Working pressure 80 psi.

Gunmetal cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's valve gear with pole reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator on left hand running board, driven from the crosshead via a rocking lever.

A well-built engine in good order with lots of nice detail touches.
