A 5 inch gauge "Tich" to the classi LBSC design, this the large-boilered version. It goes very well - Ashley borrowed for an outing a couple of weekends ago and came back full of enthusiasm (rarely seen for a locomotive in this, the most committed of traction engine men).

Silver soldered copper boiler, 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and auxiliary hand pump in the side tank. There is an axle pump installed, although no pipework to it currently - it wouldn't be a great job to reinstate. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator.

Complete with a tender, it's a compact outfit, easy to carry about, it will fit in the most modest of car boots.
