A 5 inch diameter coal-fired test boiler, mounted on a base with water tank, hand pump and steam pump.
The boiler has been well made, it's in good condition with new twice working pressure shell test. Complete with fountain, safety valve, water gauge with protector and a not terribly attractive commercial pressure gauge (which could easily be replaced with something more in keeping with the rest of the boiler).
Lagged in wood strips under brass bands - one strip is missing.
The steam pump runs nicely down to a slow tickover, its mechanical lubricator -one of the smallest I've ever seen - needs attention to the ratchet and pawl mechanism.
