A 6 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine, a well-built machine, in good order throughout - we've had it in steam a couple of times this week (once more than was strictly necessary to be honest, but we fancied playing with it one afternoon - as soon as it was in steam, the rain started).
Welded steel boiler with expanded tubes, 125psi working pressure, feed by injector and mechanical pump. Cast iron cylinder with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's gear, mechanical lubricator. Three shaft, two speed transmission with differential, winch behind nearside rear wheel with fairleads on tender. Rubber tyres on road wheels.
The engine goes well and has been used regularly on road runs - it's a capable machine on the road, the side by side seating arrangment very companionable for driver and steersman.
There's some video of Jon driving it earlier in the week here (his steersman having vacated the right hand seat as soon as the rain started)
