The engine is in excellent condition throughout - mechanically quiet, the steering light and silky smooth in operation; the rubber tyres show little sign of use, paintwork and lining are good.
The commercially built CE marked boiler, by Bell Boilers, was hydraulic and steam tested in March of this year, with cladding removed for inspection at that time.
A manageable size - not much longer than a 4 inch scale agricultural and weighing in at around half a ton - however the bigger scale makes for a tall engine. With a vintage cast iron seat which mounts on the tender, it's a very comfortable driving position, particularly for those with over-long (or under-flexible) legs.
Road registered with V5 document, the engine comes with firing irons, a box of tools, touch-up paint and spares including manhole gaskets and injectors, gaskets and a test gauge with blanking plate for hydraulic testing the boiler.
