A finely made 7 1/4 inch gauge Standard Class 2 Mogul, in good order throughout.
Silver soldered copper boiler by Swindon, 100psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors with auxiliary hand pump in the tender. Cast iron cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear, screw reverser in cab, mechanical lubricator. Backhead is well laid out and neatly piped, twin water gauges with blowdowns, sliding firehole doors.
Steve had this one in steam last week - fit and finish of the motionwork is very good, it runs nicely (there's a clip of it here). Paintwork is chipped in places but overall in good condition, it polishes up well.
The tender is fitted with a comfortable driver's seat, easily detachable when it's not in use, along with a check chain for coupling to locomotive.
