A cobby-looking freelance 7 1/4 inch gauge 0-4-0ST, nicely proportioned to my eyes and robustly built. It's come to us from the son of the late owner - the engine hadn't been used for many years.
Silver soldered copper boiler, built 1997. 80psi working pressure, feed by injector and twin axle pumps, with auxiliary hand pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear, pole reverser in the cab.
It's in good mechanical order, boiler is sound with new certificate - the engine steams freely and runs well, we were quite impressed with this one.
