We sold this one to a long-time Stafford customer back in February this year. The carburettor has been stripped and cleaned, and a bronze collar fitted to the transmission dump valve to allow it to be taken out of gear for ease of pushing into the engine shed - other than that, it looks much the same as it did at the start of the year.

A 7 1/4 inch gauge petrol-hydraulic shunter with driving truck, the powertrain comprising well-proven Honda four stroke engine and Eaton hydrostatic configuration, with chain drive to the wheels.

The wooden body work is more functional than decorative - although serviceable as-is, we'd be tempted to sketch up and laser cut a more plausible replacement in steel.
