A freelance 0-4-0T with ride-in tender - Sam and I had an enjoyable morning driving this at the builder's railway when we picked it up a couple of weeks ago, along with its two siblings. A tried and tested design developed by the builder, we had his first version in some years ago - it has moved on to a new owner who has made a nice job of repainting it, there are before and after pictures in the archive here.

Steel boiler with expanded tubes, 100psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in cab, twin displacement lubricators. Saddle tank is TIG-welded stainless steel.
