Another large, sit-in locomotive from the KLR stable, this is an 0-4-0T with one of the famous two wheel tenders - I had one in some years back which went well (if a little bouncy). That engine has since been repainted by its new owner and turned out as a smart (if still somewhat quirky) machine, there are before and after pictures in the archive here.
Steel boiler with expanded tubes, 100psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with pole reverser in cab, twin displacement lubricators. Saddle tank is TIG-welded stainless steel - whilst by no means the cheapest way of making a water tank I think it's one of the best (which is why we make "Stafford" tanks that way).
