A recently-completed 7 1/4 inch gauge Armstrong 4-4-0, a class of four supremely handsome engines designed by William Dean in 1894. Requiring some detail work to finish off (and possibly a rather better pressure gauge), it's nicely made and runs well - there's a clip of it steaming in the workshop here. Test steamed only, it's yet to run on a track and is mechanically in as-new condition. Paintwork is reasonable, although needs re-touching in places.
CE-marked silver soldered copper boiler by Swindon Boilers, 100psi working pressure, feed by injector and axle pump. Inside cylinders with slide valves actuated by Stephenson's gear with screw reverser in cab. Mechanical lubricator.
