Silver soldered boiler by John Ellis, 100psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors. Cast iron cylinders with slide valves actuated by Joy gear with screw reverser in the cab.
The engine goes as well as it looks, I was impressed by how quiet and tractable it is when driving it at the builder's club recently. The steam brakes are some of the most effective I've used on a locomotive in this gauge, the engine itself is free-steaming and easy to drive.
