A GWR 15xx 0-6-0PT built to the detailed "Paddington" design, the work of a professional model engineer and the man also responsible for the magnificent 7 1/4 inch gauge GWR King I sold earlier in the year. Chassis is erected complete with cylinders which are bored and fitted with pistons. Much of the valve gear - return cranks, expansion links and die blocks, radius rods, combination levers, union links - is done and erected, coupling rods are fitted. Twin axle pumps are fitted, the smokebox assembly is about halfway done, with castings for door, chimney base and cap included. All four buffers are machined, two fitted, two loose in the boxes.
There is a quantity of parts and castings, including a finished steam brake cylinder and castings for crossheads, sandboxes and petticoat pipe.
The silver-soldered copper boiler is by Priory Boilers, supplied new for the project in 2009, CE-marked and complete with maker's hydraulic test certificate.
There is a set of drawings, missing sheets 1 and 21, otherwise clean and complete.
