Well-made 3 inch scale model of the Hunslet "Alice" class quarry engine for 7 1/4 inch gauge. Silver-soldered copper boiler with Northern Association twice working pressure hydraulic test certificate, the chassis runs on air.
Work to complete includes finishing the saddle tank, lagging the boiler and plumbing up.
As far as I can see, the only expenditure left is for a couple of injectors. Most of the backhead fittings have been bought, including the excellent Pinnacle three-cock water gauges, pressure gauge, clack valves etc. There is a complete set of unmarked drawings.
These engines go very well when finished, making a very manageable size 7 1/4 gauge engine which will fit comfortably into the back of a car.
