A 7 1/4 inch gauge Southern "Schools", built as a two cylinder engine. It's was overhauled and repainted by Pavier Steam in 2015, details of the rebuild on their website here.
Silver soldered copper boiler, 90 psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors. Cast iron cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaerts gear, screw reverser in the cab. Twin mechanical lubricators. Vacuum fitted with ejector, gauge and brake valve. Good-sized whistle mounted under the off-side running board.
An older engine, robustly proportioned in Greenly fashion, build is functional rather than decorative. The engine has been running this year at the owner's club, next hydraulic test due December 2019. There's some video of it running up and down outside the works last week here.
