I bought this one from the builder some years ago - how many years you can judge by the fact that both my boys drove it on our railway at home sitting with their feet on the footplate. If you look at the six foot four chap that number two son has become posing below, you'll realise it's probably time for a bigger engine for him.

The engine has spent the last few years being lightly used in warmer climes - it's in beautiful condition and is in much the same condition as last time we had it, although cylinder port face seals have been professionally re-worked to give a rather more steamtight operation.
