Work to date is to a good standard and comprises a rolling chassis with cylinders, piston rods, rear covers, slide bars and crossheads fitted and crank axle completed with valve eccentric sheaves and straps. Loose parts include cylinder end covers, piston castings and a pair of nicely made connecting rods with cottered big ends.
Wheels are accurately quartered, the chassis rolls along freely. There would not be a great deal of work, and very little expenditure, to get the chassis to an air-running stage - it requires expansion links and die blocks along with their suspension, valve rods and valves.
The timber body work is beautifully made and finely jointed together.
Complete with a collection of drawings and photographs of the original locomotives.
