An early stage Caledonian Railway 0-6-0T to Martin Evans’
well-known “Rob Roy” design. Work to date is well done and comprises a set
of frames erected with buffer beams, gunmetal horns and axleboxes, cast iron
wheels which require quartering and pressing fully home onto the axles and a set
of gunmetal cylinders and valve chests machined and erected.
There are unmachined castings for smokebox door and front ring, outer dome and chimney.
