It was bought in the last year that Chester specified a cast cabinet stand - ordered at a show, the machine was subsequently delivered with a later, lightweight sheet steel stand. That was returned, in exchange for the old style which was (and remains) built like a brick khazi.
The machine was supplied new with power rise and fall to the head. Power feed to the table X-axis has been added - a useful improvement.
Very robustly constructed, with the tilting head travelling up and down on a substantial cast iron dovetail with bellows slideway guard.
Spindle is MT3 fitting, there is a collet drawbar chuck with collets for same.
In good condition, the machine runs quietly. The table has one or two minor scars - not uncommon on milling machines - as shown.
For collection from site at Boston, Lincolnshire with level access and hard standing.
