Agricultural traction engine by DRM Engineering of Birmingham. Copper water
tube boiler with two wick spirit burner and tank mounted beneath the footplate
in the tender. Slide valve cylinder with displacement lubricator, Stephenson's
valve gear notched up from lever on the footplate. Transmission by gear, with
the ability to disengage the drive for running implements from a belt on the
flywheel. Steering by worm and pinion with chains to front axle as per
prototype.
A nicely proportioned little engine from a well-respected engineering
company, the paintwork is worn on the footplate but otherwise is in good
condition.
