Currently mounted on a wooden base for display, it's crying out to be taken off and bolted to the smokebox of something large and narrow gauge - think Tinkerbell, Thomas II (even, dare we say, one of our own Big Staffords or Feldbahns).
It starts easily and can be throttled back to run at a slow rate. Glands at the top of the water cylinders leak slightly.
Running well on air, it would settle to a more even beat running on steam and pumping against the back pressure of a boiler instead of simply circulating water around a plastic pot. There's a video of it running at a slow tickover here - at that speed it pumps around 400ml per minute.
