An Elliott 10M single phase high speed shaping machine. It's a super little machine - in good condition, in what looks like its original factory finish, it runs very quietly. About the only thing we could find wrong was a bent slide handle - the previous owner bought it in that condition, it doesn't impair the function of the machine.

The last one of these we sold was way back in 2009. In the early days an Alba shaper - a closely-related machine of similar size - stood in one corner of the Station Road Steam workshop, used on occasions when the gentle to-and-fro motion of its ram was rather therapeutic as it worked away.

I regretted selling it almost as soon as it left the premises (and am having to work hard resisting the temptation to give this one a good home...)

Complete with operator's manual.
