A well-made GWR Prairie to Trevor Shortlands highly detailed design. I think at some stage this has been a complete engine, although it has obviously never been steamed - my hypothesis is that the original boiler was found defective after assembly and painting. There is some light damage to the platework around the tanks and cab where the original boiler cladding appears to have been removed, the current boiler is a beautifully made job by John Ellis, supplied new last year.

The chassis runs well on air and is largely complete.
