A large quantity of castings - I've gathered up pretty much everything we've accumulated over the years ("that'll come in useful") and put it in a big box this morning. That I found I then couldn't lift. So, I've taken them piecemeal to the studio (that is, the corner we keep the camera in) for photography- shown below is what you get.
Looking through it, a pair of the cylinders may well be for a Lucky 7, there are two pairs of big 7 1/4 inch gauge piston valve cylinders. A haystack firebox for 5 inch gauge Lion, a small machined cylinder that looks Stuart 10V-ish. A set of locomotive and tender wheels for a 3 1/2 inch gauge Pacific, very clean castings, nicely machined - "Hielan Lassie" perhaps? A flanged part boiler kit for something 5 inch gauge, possibly "Butch". Some 5 inch gauge driving wheels, good castings nicely machined. And lots of other stuff including machined axle pump, pressure gauge, chimney and dome castings (again may be "Butch"), eccentric sheaves, piston rings, stationary engine flywheels.
Much too heavy for me to lift, ideally we'd prefer a strong person to come and collect. Or somebody not so strong and a friend. At a push we could deliver to Peterborough 16mm Show next month, or send them out on a pallet (although would cost as much as the castings).
