The engine is largely complete, although currently stiff to turn over. It requires a pair of slide valves machining to finish - there are a pair of castings for these.
Handsomely proportioned, if rather flamboyantly finished with plated connecting rods and cylinder end covers - rebuilt and painted there's the basis of an impressive large scale model of a typical Victorian mill engine.
