Factory-built and painted 1 inch scale Burrell agricultural engine.
Silver-soldered gas-fired copper boiler, gas tank beneath footplate in tender. Backhead fitted with water gauge with blowdown and pressure gauge. Single cylinder engine with slide valve actuated by Stephenson's valve gear, pole reverser on footplate, dummy governor. Displacement lubricator cunningly disguised to look like the original engine's toolbox on the right hand running board.
I've had several of these engines over the years - they run very nicely and gas-firing makes them particularly controllable (and allows indoor running on cold days!). This engine has had one owner and careful use - mechanical condition is good, the lined-out paintwork is largely unmarked.
