Mike
Now retired, Mike's role changed over the years as younger and better men took over the levers of power at Station Road Steam.
 
These days an occasional visitor to the works, his still spends time drawing pictures of steam engines that he thinks we should make (and sometimes do).
 
 
 
 
When not drawing engines, he tinkers with elderly cars, one of which has proved remarkably reliable in making it to Sidmouth in Devon each year for the family holiday, last year's time of 11 hours and 25 minutes setting a new record for the 300 mile journey (as did the fuel consumption, although not in a good way...)
